Did someone order a large cup of depressing with a shot of feels?!

One of our writing assignments this week was to, “Use a digital art application of any kind that lets you draw and/or paint.” We had to  “create at least four images that tell a digital story. Use captions and use your words to move the reader through the trajectory of the story.”

This is the story of my childhood best friend. I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves. I decided to go with a minimalistic approach to the words on the pictures. I thought it would make more of an impact that way.

I used a program called sketchpad. I’m not familiar with any programs that let you draw via your computer, so I just typed “free online drawing programs” into google and this was the most promising thing that popped up. I wish I had an artistic bone in my body, because this could have been done a lot nicer. I have shaky hands and no experience drawing on my computer so this was definitely a challenge, but I’m mildly satisfied with the way it turned out.
