My Examples of Noir

After learning about noir and watching some of the examples provided, the first thing that came to my mind was my favorite Don Knotts movie “The Ghost and Mr. Chicken”. It’s a comedy movie but the lighting and eery background music make for some really tense scenes. Most of the Noir scenes take place in the haunted mansion. Here is the 1996 trailer which shows some great scenes.

Also no idea why I know or remember this… but the writers of Arthur have done a few noir inspired episodes. One that stuck our to me was “The Case of the Girl with the Long Face”
